Do you believe that parents have the right to know what schools are teaching their children about sex?

In North Carolina, parents have a right to consent, review, and interact with their child's public sex education. However, across our state, parents continue to be shocked by the vulgar curriculums they find their kids being taught, or confused about how they can consent, review, and interact with their kid's sex education. Some parents are even being turned away when they ask to see these materials!

If you believe parents are primarily responsible for their children's education, and that schools shouldn't be "Parent Free School Zones," would you add your name to our petition and then take the Sex Ed Survey? 

Just because a parent sends their kids to public school doesn't mean they should lose their fundamental right to know what their children are being taught.

    The schools can’t even teach math correctly. Can’t imagine what they do with sex ed. Leave it to the parents for the most part. Give a few facts, no demos, teach abstinence. There’s your lesson plan.

    I as a parent I have every right to know what is going on in the school my child attends! Whether it’s from what she did in gym class that day to what he learned in sex at that day and any other day for that matter! I am responsible for my sons morals and values what’s next are you going to tell a child if they’re sexually assaulted in school because it’s a parent free zone children shouldn’t tell mommy and daddy

    Parents have a right To know and question all aspects of what their child is being taught and just as Importantly , what they are NOT being taught especially in History.
